We went to the pumpkin patch with our friends today. It was a beautiful pacific northwestern day with blue skies and in the 60's. The kids had a blast playing on the hay pyramid. It had tunnels throughout and places to hide from each other. We rode the hay ride out to the pumpkin fields where everyone picked out their perfect pumpkin. Can I say "that's a lot of pumpkin seeds we get to roast". Stephen and Richard were our studly pumpkin haulers, they had fun with it even though the wheel barrels looked pretty heavy loaded to the rim with everyones pumpkins and ours had a squeaky wheel. There was a pumpkin sling shot for those who dared to try their strength and skill; that was funny to watch. We all sipped on hot apple cider and hot chocolate, YUMMY!!! All in all what a wonderful day
