Apple Festival

We had a great time yesterday in Portland for the Apple Festival. It is held at Portland Nursery were there are such beautiful backgrounds for pictures. They have apple/pear tasting were you make a list of the really yummy ones. It is amazing that there are so many different types of apples & pears. They sell all of them right there at the festival. Walking around listening to the live music, drinking the fresh apple cider, and looking at the local vendors makes for some adult fun while the kids have fun doing the crafts.

Wow, It is hard to believe that we have been here a year. When we moved here last October we just rolled into town and went to the festival the next day. Great new tradition that we have started.
