On this Memorial Day we all take time to remember our loved ones who have paid the ultimate sacrafice for our freedom. As you all know we lost a very special friend Dec 9,07. He will always be in our hearts and we cherish our wonderful memories.

In honor of all of our men and women that fight for our freedom please say a special prayer for them and their families. They are a special group and need our support always! No one wants to go to war but this is a great nation and worth defending. Ask the men and women that are over there doing just that!

Today we want to wish a very special man Happy Birthday...this man is a loving husband, dad, papa and wonderful friend. He is a man of honesty and integrity. He is a man with great faith and loves his Lord! He is a man that loves his family and takes great pride in them.

Enjoying the day

It's a beautiful day here and I am happy to say I am feeling better. Friday and Saturday were awful, I had a headache that would not go away and I felt like poo! I slept pretty much the entire day Saturday which was a bummer since it was such a nice day and I coudn't play outside. Today we went for a drive to get out since I had cabin fever. Everything is so green, the wild flowers are every where and the views are breathtaking. We came across a residential area that over looks the hills and valley...it was GORGEOUS. We took a few pics while we were out.

Beautiful Girls

A couple of weeks ago I had a great time hanging out with my friends and taking some pictures of their three beautiful girls. They each have their own unique personality. They sure do know how to melt my heart! I was honored when their daddy & mommy showed me what they were giving their nanas for Mother's Day; it was a calendar of my photos. I couldn't believe it. You know when you look at pictures you have taken and really enjoy them so when you give them to your friends you hope they will like them too? Well, this was one of those moments and when I saw the excitement in their faces when I brought over their disk...it felt amazing! I love photography and want to pursue making it more than just a hobby. I love to capture moments and turn them into long lasting memories. Time goes by so fast and we need photographs to look back on.

Missing my Family!

Every year my family gets together to celebrate Mothers Day, it's a tradition that I hope will continue for many, many, many years to come! We celebrate the love that share and to honor our Moms, Mimi's, Nana's, Grandmothers, Nieces, Cousins, to celebrate our lives as a unit. I enjoy spending time with my family & really miss them. I haven't been able to attend since we moved to the Pacific NW in the fall of 2008. But I am hoping to make 2011!

Our family is full of remarkable women that are incredible moms. I cherish every moment and look back & giggle at all of our pictures that have been taken thru the years. It's amazing to see how much we all have changed and to see how all the little ones have grown and all of our new additions.

My mom is my bestest friend. She is my rock, her unconditional love is amazing and is she always there. Her family is everything to her. I can never express enough to her how much she means to me and what a wonderful mom she is. I hope that I am half the mom to my daughter that my mom is to me. I love you Mom!

Another remarkable lady in our family is my Aunt Nellie, she is an incredible person with such a big heart. Again her family is everything to her! I love the talks we have and her "pearls of wisdom" that she shares. I love her laugh, lets just say we have some serious fun when we are together ;-) I miss you terribly and hope to see you soon! I love you Aunt Nay!

I hate to say I didn't bring out my camera at all this weekend other than to take a pic of Laney, I have no pics to post of me and Bug :( I will have to make it up and take a bunch this weekend. I heard we were going to be in the 80's yippie!!!!

April was a busy month...
