Whats for Dinner????

I was looking thru the blogs I follow and saw this really neat idea. I love planning out my menus for the week and what a great way to do just that and make it fun in the process. I love that! Click here the idea room to see how my little project came to life. I used a chalk board I already had and the days of the week are made from scrapbook paper that I printed the days on; I then circle punched them; I put a drop of Diamond Glaze in the center & put the glass drop on them and let dry. Then I attached a magnet with E6000 and walla!

Before looking for something to eat and drink,

we should look for someone to eat and drink with!

First Swim Meet...Go girls go!

We had our first swim meet last week. At first it was a little stress full making sure that we were going to have enough time for the swim meet and get mom to the airport. When my mom made her flight reservations we hadn't received the meet schedule yet and then there it was our first meet on the day my mom was heading home...it all worked out though and Mimi got to see "Skittles" swim her first meet.

I am so proud of Awbrey, for those of you that know her she really never liked swimming with her head down. She is learning the technique of keep her head down & breathing to the side. She swam 3 different races...1st it was the 25M free style, then the 50M free style & then the 100M relay...she was scheduled for one other relay but her coaches new that we had to get my mom to the airport so they moved things around...thanks coaches!

Enjoying Time with Mom

My mom came for a visit to celebrate Stephen's Birthday & give Awbrey Mimi support when she had her braces put on. We have loved her being her and appreciate all that she has done for us while she was here. THANKS MOM!!!!

My mom is my very best friend and I can tell her anything. She is such a wonderful loving person with such a big heart. I am so proud to call her my mom. She is a remarkable Grandmother and is such an important roll  in my daughters life. Bre has been around her since day one and I wouldn't have it any other way.

We had a GREAT time and we're already looking forward to Mimi & Papa's visit in the spring.

Thank you God for blessing me with such a wonderful family!

Braces Day

Today was the day missy got her braces. She was a real trooper and sat there for 3 hours watching a movie while the wonderful staff & awesome orthodontist at Adventure Dental (whom we love) did her impressions and put her braces on. She is really sore but it will be well worth it in the end. I think she is liking the eat cold stuff because it helps....she loves ice cream!
