Look at what we are getting ready to do...I am so excited! I love fresh veggies and they are just so darn expensive. Let me tell you since i have been eating so many I am at the grocery store 3 times a week getting fresh produce. Not any more, I will be planting my first garden in the next couple of weeks. I have wanted to do this for a while now and was trying to figure out how on earth I could get a garden to grow at our apartment with a shady patio...it just wasn't going to work. Our wonderful friends Laura & Dave live out in the country & are letting us use some of their acreage for a 20X30 garden. It will be fun growing my own veggies and getting to do this with our good friends. We will be planting green onions, sugar snap peas, green beans, carrots, pumpkins, sweet onion, lettuce blend, cantaloupe, beets, bell pepper, corn, yellow squash, zucchini & tomatoes.
