Braces Day

Today was the day missy got her braces. She was a real trooper and sat there for 3 hours watching a movie while the wonderful staff & awesome orthodontist at Adventure Dental (whom we love) did her impressions and put her braces on. She is really sore but it will be well worth it in the end. I think she is liking the eat cold stuff because it helps....she loves ice cream!

Our First Week of getting up @ 5:30am

At first I was not sure how this was going to work. Awbrey signed up for her schools swim team and practice is Mon-Fri mornings and they have to be at the school no later than 6:30am. For those of you who know my daughter she is not a morning person. The first night she was so excited that she was going to swim she couldn't sleep. I think it was around midnight that she finally fell asleep. I was nervous thinking how in the world is she going to be able to get up and be ready for swimming. She popped out of bed and was ready to go. She is really enjoying the techniques that she is learning and is so happy to be involved in a sport again.

Honor Roll...Congratulations Girl!

This past Thursday Awbrey was awarded Honor Roll. The school had a breakfast for the kids and their parents to award them of their achievements. Awbrey and her BFF work hard and offer each other support when homework seems like it will never end.

It's amazing to see your child blossom into a loving, beautiful, thoughtful young woman. It's seems like yesterday that she took her first steps. Wow, how time flies. I cherish every moment!
